John Carter of Mars by Valzonline John Carter of Mars by Valzonline
... and Dejah Thoris of course. I needed a break from all my digital stuff (I'm a bit bored of it in fact), so I tried to make a fine rendition of these two amazing characters, in the 'old fashion way'.
It was a lot of fun, and I'm really happy with the end result.
Hope you like it too.
Best.

Tools: watercolors and markers (plus PS for the bg texture).

Very good... could be the cover art for a reprint of the book(With a little more clothing on Dejah). Do you intend to do any of the martian animals or airships?

Wow! Frazetta would be proud.
This is John Carter and Queen Thoris as I remember them from the stories. Nicely done! :)

NICE!

I recently acquired the last four books of that series. Now I just need 1-6.
