Description

Is no secret that one of my goals is to work for Marvel Comics someday... so this is what I do in my spare time.
Every day I feel more comfortable with my pencil/inking work, and maybe they will see some potential in this samples... let's hope so :)

[Update] I added the 4th page, to complete the sequence... Avengers anyone?? :D
Hope you like it!

The work is absolutely beautiful, but I cannot discern the story.

Page 1: SS is flying around and then there's a nuclear explosion (?) on Earth, in Europe it seems. And, from the expression and placement of SS's face he's either telling us about it or the cause of it. (My point here is that the convention you've used in that last panel is usually for those reasons.)

Page 2: Galactus is stomping through a city. Cap and Thor are on guard in this European city, but they're not fighting in this scene, perhaps worn out from a battle. In the last panel some other robotic giant is...breathing fire? If that's Galactus, the design of the mask differs greatly from the above. If it's a new character, you've not established its presence yet, so this is a bit odd.

Page 3: Thor readies his hammer after we've already seen Galactus stomping through the European city and Fire-Breath Guy doing whatever he's doing...and yet Thor's just standing there. Then I don't know if I'm supposed to look down or to the right. Looking down, there's no action, and I don't understand why we're close on Galactus. Looking right, there's some burst in front of Thor, who's STILL readying his hammer, while Cap is just standing there. Then Thor winds back in a panel where we lose half of his hammer and he smashes a cliff. A cliff in the middle of this city in Europe.

Page 4: Galactus then screams, everybody runs. Thor is again readying his hammer, Cap is still just looking around, and then...Iron Man appears through a Boom Tube inside Galactus?! I don't know.

All of that said, with just a couple of exceptions, every panel moves with great action. Your anatomy is strong, and your interpretations of the characters is great. If that IS Galactus bottom of page 2, you really need to ensure that each image matches your initial design choice. And each panel must inform the previous one, or the one which follows. That is, each panel must tell a piece of the story AND push it forward -- that's just not happening here.

Also, be more aware of where you lead the reader's eye. Page 1, panel 1 takes the reader's eye to the right and then we have to go extreme left for panel 2 in a way that doesn't feel natural, whereas pages 2 and 4 pull the reader's eye down and along the pages PERFECTLY.
